Luxury Media Walls & Media Room Design Specialists

Bespoke Audio-Visual Architecture Across London & The Home Counties

Elevate your primary living space with a custom architectural media wall engineered for both visual beauty and acoustic excellence. At Art of Cinema (the residential specialists from Arthur Acoustics), we design, build, and commission bespoke media walls that seamlessly blend reference-grade technology with high-end interior aesthetics.

As certified members of CEDIA and the Institute of Acoustics (IOA), we handle the entire process under one roof—from initial 3D digital design and structural carpentry to premium equipment integration and final calibration—serving clients across London, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.

Technical Excellence Hidden in Plain Sight

A luxury media wall should never be a basic drywall box with a television hung on it. True home entertainment requires meticulous engineering to prevent structural vibrations, manage component heat, and optimize room acoustics. Our custom solutions feature:

• Integrated Acoustic Fabric Frameworks: We utilise advanced stretched fabric systems to completely conceal high-fidelity front LCR speakers and subwoofers behind a flawless, acoustic-transparent designer finish.

• Invisible & Architectural Audio Integration: Using high-output flush-mount wall arrays from M&K Sound, Origin Acoustics, and Theory Audio Design, we deliver a massive, cinematic soundstage with a zero visual footprint.

• Thermal Management & Smart Ventilation: High-performance AV processors, digital amplifiers, and gaming consoles generate significant heat. We design silent, hidden active ventilation paths to protect your investment and ensure system longevity.

• Precision Anti-Vibration Engineering: Deep bass frequencies can cause televisions, cabinetry, and structural studs to rattle. Our Institute of Acoustics (IOA) certified engineers utilize specialized acoustic isolation decoupling brackets to ensure chest-thumping sound without structural feedback.

Reference-Grade Visuals & Custom Art Integration

Whether your space is a sunlit open-plan family lounge or a dedicated evening media room, we specify premium display technologies that deliver immaculate contrast and color accuracy:

• Large-Format Smart Displays: We integrate the latest OLED and MicroLED displays from Sony and Samsung, flush-mounted perfectly parallel to your architectural finishes.

• Motorised Artwork & Sliding Panels: If you prefer to hide the screen completely when it is switched off, we can engineer motorized canvases or custom panels that glide away silently when the system is activated.

• Bespoke Feature Fireplaces: We safely isolate and recess high-end, realistic ambient electric fires directly beneath your display, creating an elegant focal point for the room.

Effortless Control via Control4 & Lutron Automation

We believe luxury means simplicity. Our media walls eliminate the clutter of multiple remote controls, replacing them with a single elegant interface that the whole family can use.

• Single-Touch Control: Via Control4 automation, a single button tap opens your media source, wakes up your multi-channel amplifier, and sets your desired volume instantly.

• Intelligent Ambient Lighting: We weave custom LED backlighting, recessed halo lighting, and downlights into the framework, completely integrated with Lutron lighting systems to transition the room's mood from bright social gathering to an intimate viewing space automatically.
